Welcome to Million Mom March

April 12, 2012

As a mom of 4 children ages 15-31, I find it quite offense to hear a Democratic strategist and DNC adviser Hilary Rosen's remarks regarding Ann Romney choice to be a t stay at home mom to the Romney's 5 sons.

We moms that have stayed home all or all of our chid's lives do so for more reason's than money or convenience. Some moms are luckier than others as they can afford reputable day care and go to work, knowing well their children are being well taken care of. Others suffer with mixed emotions; torn between trying to provide a better life for their children while wanting to see them grow up.

All this while the mom cleans, cooks, keeps up appointments for dentisits, doctors, sports activities, school and homework, just on the short list of mom's chores.

For anyone to say a stay at home mom really "don't work" is like a slap in the face to all us moms who at one time or another had the struggle to work (whether in or out of the home) and be at home with our children.

I feel, like many others that this is a call to action. I would like to see a Million Mom March on Washington- and for that matter all across the U.S.A. In small towns and in large cities. Let's see how many of us moms would come out and support each other and all we do and have done. If you are or have been at one time a stay at home mom, please join us. Let us show these uninelligent people how much clout we have--and how our job is as important than any other-infact even more so in today's society.

The perfect day to show support would be May 13, 2012-Mother's Day. Come out to support all moms that have at one time or another been a stay at home Mom. Let's march on Washington, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, St Louis, Dallas and beyond!!!!

Please respond to the blog with your support of all stay at home moms and in what city you will be supporting us.

Thank you!!!
